Smart Food Production – Think East Netherlands
In the Agri Food domain, 25 triple-helix partners from East Netherlands focus on Smart Food Production, by developing climate-neutral and circular food production methods with a hands-on mentality. All efforts are connected to Europe’s ‘Farm to Fork strategy’ and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

In Smart Food Production, manual labour is replaced by a combination of robots and big data. Precision farming is supported by sensors and AI to minimize food waste and increase efficiency & sustainability.
